Crafting Character,
Not only Golfers

Join a community where golf is more than a game – it’s a catalyst for positive change. Together, we can shape the next generation of leaders

The SCPGA foundation’s core mission is to introduce, nurture, and sustain a lifelong love of the game of golf. Through our 5 pillars, we strive to provide access for all those who wish to play regardless of race, color, or socio-economic background.

PGA Hope®

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. This program is open to all Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, and Veterans and provided at no cost. PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional wellbeing.

ClubsForeYouth®

The Southern California PGA Foundation created ClubsForeYouth® as a means to provide local student-athletes, specifically female youth, with adequate resources needed to experience important recreational opportunities at high schools throughout Southern California.

SCPGA Junior Tour

The Southern California PGA Junior Tour’s mission is to create learning and playing opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels throughout Southern California. We aim to utilize golf as a vehicle to instill values such as integrity, honor, and patience. The SCPGA Junior Tour strives to foster and develop these values that will positively impact our member’s character on and off the golf course.

Grants & Scholarships

The Southern California PGA Foundation’s Grants and Scholarships Program is tailored toward at-risk and underprivileged youth in the Southern California community. The SCPGA Foundation’s sole focus is to assist those in need through a variety of options focused on the game of golf. The life skills associated with the game are unmatched and the SCPGA Foundation views each activity and event as key contributions to a junior’s overall mental, physical, and social development.

Community, Accessibility & Advocacy

More than a pillar, community and accessibility is the SCPGA Foundation’s guiding principle, whether, providing equipment, competitive playing opportunities, or working with our Southern California Golf community partners to expand access for players from all backgrounds.
