The Southern California PGA Foundation is proud to recognize 15 deserving student-athletes as recipients of our 2026 scholarships, supporting their continued education while celebrating their dedication to the game of golf.
Through the Foundation’s Grants and Scholarships Program, we are committed to recognizing the hard work, determination, leadership, and character of young golfers throughout Southern California. The lessons learned through golf extend far beyond the course, and these students exemplify the values we hope to encourage in the next generation.
As recipient Grant Leary shared, “I enjoy helping others succeed and grow through the game, just as others helped me along the road.” That spirit of giving back is reflected throughout this year’s scholarship class.

For many of these recipients, golf has become much more than a game. Callie Chen said, “The greatest impact I can have on the game is not through my scorecard, but through the way I can help others experience and enjoy golf too.”
This year also marks an exciting milestone with the first-ever SoCal Jr. Golf Alumni Association Scholarship. Funding for this scholarship comes directly from membership in the SoCal Jr. Golf Alumni Association, giving former junior golfers a meaningful way to help open doors for the next generation.
As Chloe Kumpis wrote, “Sometimes growth comes not from pushing harder, but from giving yourself the same patience and encouragement that you would give someone else.”
You can help create the next opportunity. By joining the SoCal Jr. Golf Alumni Association, you are directly supporting scholarships like this one while reconnecting with the junior golf community that helped shape your own experience. Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients, and thank you to our SCPGA Foundation supporters and Alumni Association members for helping us continue to invest in the future of these outstanding student-athletes.
We are especially grateful to Friends of Golf for their continued support of the Southern California PGA Foundation and our scholarship program.
This year, Friends of Golf helped provide five $3,000 scholarships, creating meaningful opportunities for young golfers to continue their education while carrying forward the values and lessons they have gained through the game.
Their continued investment in junior golfers helps make opportunities like these possible, and we are proud to recognize Friends of Golf as an important partner in supporting the next generation.
Thank you to Friends of Golf for investing in the futures of our student-athletes.
