SCPGA Hope Ambassador
James followed his father’s footsteps into the Navy, as a SeaBee, an elite class ofcraftsmen who are deployed globally to build bases, airfields, and other infrastructure.James recently hit his 2-year retirement mark after a 26-year career. Immediately afterthe Navy, he discovered the Professional Golfer’s Career College (PGCC) in Temeculaand relocated there to actively pursue a role in the golf industry, specifically in PGAHOPE. After attaining his Associate’s at PGCC, James enrolled in the PGA HOPEProgram at Coronado, in which he was a standout leader and has been activelyinvolved in outings and communication between HOPE groups. James is now a LevelOne PGA Associate working at Native Oaks Golf Course in Valley Center.“Becoming a PGA HOPE Ambassador has been a dream come true. Being theSouthern California Ambassador is an honor and is important to me because it allowsme to be in the service of my fellow Veterans and to do it here where I not only havebeen stationed but where I was born and raised is just absolutely amazing to me. I don’tknow what I would be doing without the PGA HOPE Program.”
