THE SCPGA FOUNDATION 50/50 RAFFLE OFFICIAL RULES AND INFORMATION

The SCPGA Foundation ("Foundation") will conduct 50/50 RAFFLES at the JM Eagle Championship at El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, CA to support the Foundation's charitable initiatives.

A 50/50 RAFFLE is a raffle where the prize to the winning ticket holder is one-half (or 50%) of the gross receipts generated from the sale of raffle tickets at a single event. The remaining one-half (or 50%) of the gross receipts is retained by the Foundation to benefit or support its charitable purposes.

All SCPGA Foundation 50/50 RAFFLE tickets, transactions, participants, purchasers, and winners are subject to these Official Rules, and to all applicable statutes, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to the State of California Penal Code and the California Bureau of Gambling Control rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, and all other applicable rules and regulations adopted by any regulatory and/or enforcement agency having jurisdiction with respect to the activities to which these Official Rules apply.

The 50/50 RAFFLES will be operated exclusively by the SCPGA Foundation.

Ticket Purchase:
The SCPGA Foundation 50/50 RAFFLE fundraisers will be conducted during the JM Eagle Championship at El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, CA. Raffle tickets will be sold electronically from the time the event begins until the conclusion of the designated ticket-selling period. The winning number and final jackpot total will be posted at the event and on the Foundation’s website.

Raffle tickets will only be sold electronically through the Foundation’s online platform. Participants may purchase e-tickets via the designated electronic ticketing system.

Entry:
Tickets may be purchased electronically with a credit card in United States dollars (U.S. $) as follows:

800 for $200

300 for $100

50 for $50

20 for $40

5 for $20

Raffle tickets will be sold only in areas where an event ticket is required for admission to the event. Each e-ticket purchase represents one (1) entry for that event’s 50/50 RAFFLE and is not eligible for any past or future 50/50 RAFFLE drawing. The Foundation is not responsible for printing errors in any raffle-related material or any issues with online transactions or electronic tickets that may limit the entrant’s ability to participate in or win any 50/50 RAFFLE.

False or deceptive entries or acts by the purchaser will render the purchaser ineligible. Entrants may purchase as many tickets as they wish, subject to availability. An e-ticket is not transferable or assignable from its purchaser to any other person. All sales of raffle tickets are final; no refunds will be made under any circumstances. Raffle ticket purchases are not tax deductible.

The Foundation has the right to suspend the raffle at any time during the scheduled event due to any unforeseen incidents that result in the Foundation being unable to conduct the 50/50 RAFFLE (for example, weather delays, power outages, emergencies, or other unforeseeable circumstances). In that case, the raffle ticket sales will terminate, and the raffle drawing will be postponed until the unforeseen incident no longer interferes with the conduct of the 50/50 RAFFLE.

Eligibility:
The SCPGA Foundation 50/50 RAFFLE is open to all ticket holders to the event who: (i) are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry; (ii) are physically present at the event; and (iii) provide valid government-issued identification. By purchasing an e-ticket, the entrant agrees to abide by all terms of these Official Rules applicable thereto subject to all federal, state, local, and municipal laws and regulations. Some restrictions apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

No person affiliated with the Foundation, the event organizers, or a registered manufacturer and distributor of raffle-related products or services used for the 50/50 RAFFLES, including any affiliated person, employee, agent, or their immediate family member, may participate in any 50/50 RAFFLE as a raffle ticket purchaser or receive a raffle prize.

Drawing:
Every electronic transaction will be electronically tallied. The running total will be periodically displayed and updated in real time at the event. The winning ticket number will be drawn from the pool of electronic raffle numbers corresponding to the e-tickets that have been sold. Raffle sales will end at the conclusion of the designated selling period, and the drawing will happen shortly thereafter. Ticket holders need not be present to win. The winner need not be present to claim their prize. One (1) winner will be chosen from the pool of purchased tickets for that event. The decisions of the Foundation are final and binding on all matters relating to any raffle.

Winner Notification:
The winning ticket number will be posted on the Foundation’s website. In the case of a discrepancy between the announced number and the actual number, the actual number drawn will be considered to be the valid winning ticket. The Foundation has no obligation to contact the winning ticket holder directly.

Prize:
Each prize is payable via check from the Foundation, and the winning amount depends on the sales of the raffle tickets. Each winning prize, in the form of a check, shall be paid to each raffle winner within four (4) to six (6) weeks of the claim date via U.S. mail once the potential winner has provided all documentation required by the Foundation and applicable law. Each raffle winner will receive one-half (1/2) of the total gross receipts collected by the Foundation for the 50/50 RAFFLE on the applicable event day. No substitutes for the cash prize will be allowed.

The winner will be notified via phone and or email

The purchased SCPGA Foundation 50/50 RAFFLE e-ticket is the only valid receipt for claiming a prize. The potential raffle winner will be required to submit their valid social security number and appropriate identification to the Foundation and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability and Publicity Release, and all applicable tax forms.

Failure to submit any identification or failure to return required documents to the Foundation within the specified time period, noncompliance with these Official Rules, or return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and the prize being forfeited. Any forfeited prize money will be retained by the Foundation. Potential winners may also choose to waive their right to receive a prize, at which point the prize from that drawing will be forfeited, and the prize money will be retained by the Foundation.

Taxation:
All SCPGA Foundation 50/50 RAFFLE winners will be subject to Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) and California Franchise Tax Board rules and regulations regarding gambling winnings. The Foundation must comply with all reporting requirements on the prize amounts imposed by state, local, and/or federal laws. Each winner assumes all responsibility for any state, local, or federal taxes, fees, or other government assessments on the prize amount. Federal tax law requires that tax withholding on certain raffle prize values must be collected from the winner before distribution of the prize. Each winner is advised to consult their own tax advisor(s) with respect to the liabilities that may arise from winning a prize in the 50/50 RAFFLE.

All SCPGA Foundation 50/50 RAFFLE winners will have until thirty (30) days following the conclusion of the applicable event date to claim their prize. If a prize remains unclaimed after thirty (30) days, the unclaimed prize money will be retained by the Foundation.

Hold Harmless and Release of Liability:
By purchasing or attempting to purchase an e-ticket, purchasers agree to release and hold harmless the SCPGA Foundation, JM Eagle Championship, El Caballero Country Club, their affiliated organizations, event organizers, and their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, employees, and volunteers (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in the 50/50 RAFFLE or the receipt or use of any prize. This includes, without limitation, any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from participating in the raffle, attending the event, or using any prize.
